Through its collaborative agreements with universities around the world, York University provides its students, faculty and, in some cases, staff, with a wide range of international opportunities. Depending on the particular agreement, these opportunities may include study abroad, internships, faculty exchange, research visits, curriculum development, or exchange of publications and other materials.
Agreements for collaboration come about in a number of ways. Some are initiated centrally, others begin with collaboration between one York faculty member and a colleague at another university. Yet others are initiated by a Faculty or Department.
