The International Student Employment Program (ISEP) is designed to offer international undergraduate students paying international fees, Canadian work experience, while studying at York. The jobs in this program are only open to full-time international undergraduate students (visiting students, graduate students, and exchange students are not eligible for this program).

The types of jobs offered through the program vary, as well as the required number of hours to work and the rate of pay. Generally, students can expect to work between 5 to 15 hours a week during the school year and up to 35 hours per week in the summer and get paid between $10.25 to $15.00 per hour. These jobs are for the Fall/Winter academic term only (September to April) or the Summer academic term only.

ISEP positions are advertised in April/May and in early September on the York International employment page (this page), and on the international student listserv.

SUMMER session ISEP jobs are all filled. Fall/Winter 2013-14 positions will be posted mid August.
