There are a number of scholarships and bursaries available from York for international students. Funding opportunities offered through York are provided as a way to supplement your education expenses, in conjunction with your own savings.
Undergraduate Student Funding
| Entrance Scholarships - Entrance scholarships are awarded once when students are first admitted to York. Some entrance scholarships are awarded automatically, and some must be applied for specifically. This page explains which entrance scholarships international students are eligible for under the heading International Applicants. |
| York University Continuing Student Scholarship - The Continuing Student Scholarship is distributed annually in August to students who have achieved outstanding academic results in the previous Fall/Winter and Summer sessions. The value of the awards varies proportionately with the level of academic achievement and course load. No application is required for this scholarship. |
| Continuing Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries - A number of scholarships, awards, and bursaries are available to assist undergraduate students in meeting the costs of university education. Academic excellence, financial need and community involvement are the primary criteria for most awards. Please check award requirements carefully - if the criteria states that they are restricted to Canadian citizens and/or landed immigrants, you can not apply for them. |
