York International offers programming and services for International Students - students in Canada on study permits and enrolled in degree-programs at York. International Students are also eligible for exchange and other study abroad options and are encouraged to take part in other international programs. International students can sign up for the listserv at orientation, YI front desk, or by sending an e-mail to iadvisor@yorku.ca asking to be added to the listserv.

	International Student Events Calendar - This calendar, at our YUConnect site, outlines the many events, activities and information sessions that York International plans for international students each year.
	New International Students - Getting started at York, including information on orientation, housing, immigration, employment and York's Buddy Program, which matches up new students with more experienced ones. Also includes the International Teaching Assistant Handbook.
	Health Insurance - York has a number of health plans which are all discussed here. UHIP is mandatory for all international students - full details are found in this section of the site.
	Immigration - Details about Canada's immigration policies pertaining to international students. Also includes links regarding US Visa requirements.
	Employment - Can I work in Canada? Full information on the government's rules for working while studying in Canada. Also contains information about work permits for graduating students, and York's International Student Employment Program (ISEP).
	Income Tax - Students who have been employed in Canada must file income tax returns. Even students that did not have income should file income tax returns - they may receive money back in the form of tax credits.
	Finances & Funding - Funding details for international students, including how to pay your student fees and bursaries you may be eligible for.
	International Student Advising - Advisors can help with financial, housing, social, immigration, and cultural issues.
