The Buddy Program is a York International program which matches returning domestic and international students (mentors) with new incoming international students (buddies). The program, which runs during the Summer, Fall and Winter Terms, is designed to assist new students with their adjustment to York, Toronto and Canada. The support provided by the Buddy Program is intended to present students with the opportunity to create a social network and community atmosphere through regular social events organized throughout the academic year as well as through individual meetings with their buddies/mentors. Registration for new buddies and mentors for the Summre Term is now OPEN. Please check this site for registration updates if you are interested in becoming a buddy or a mentor for the upcoming Summer 2013 term.
